That email was bizarre, but I appreciate Rush's efforts to introduce an element of comedy into an otherwise sad situation, all the while reinforcing the notion that you didn't miss out on much.

Got a rejection from NW today via snail mail. Say they had nearly 600 applicants and I wasn't one of the good ones! That was my final school I needed to hear from...
