This is all so frustrating. I know many 'middle of the road' students applying to internal medicine who have 20 interviews and they only applied to 21 programs.....

This is definitely tough... It's like running a marathon, where every mile or so you get kicked in the crotch... but if you can make it to the end you may get to be an orthopod.
