Thank you letters to interviewers

How do you all feel about sending these out to the people that interviewed you? Many interview days are
comprised of 6-10 mini interviews. Is it customary to send them out to everyone or just the chairman if
you interviewed with him? Thoughts, comments appreciated.

letters

i just sent one to the chairman...i think the whole thing is stupid...how much rear end do we have to kiss
anyway?

I think it's stupid (and insincere) to send same letter to all who interviewed you...they put the letters in
your file...it just doesn't look good i don't think.

But who the hell knows...i mean, when EVERYONE is sending thank you letters...do they even bother to
read them?

Re: letters

My point exactly...it seems as if you are brown nosing when you send a program 10 thank you letters.
Swapping names and using the same letter for each one is probably the worst thing you can do.
However, can it really make a difference?

Thank-you letters

I had an interview this past weekend, and someone asked one of the residents about this issue. The
resident said it's enough to send one to the chairman.
