nonrotator interviews was created by joints
If you get an interview at a program that only picks rotators (90%) but did not rotate there (i.e. georgetown, UT-southwestern, northwestern) is it worth while to spend money on a plane ticket, hotel, turn down another interview on same date?

Replied by on topic those are all pretty good
those are all pretty good programs. Honestly, if I find out that ~90% of current residents (some programs inteview all their rotators and home students but that does not always translate to residents that match) in a program were either rotators or home students, then I would be less inclined to interview there especially if the date conflicts with that of another decent or good program.
I would however interview at the program, regardless of their preference for residents and the money for travel etc, if there is no date conflict.
