Got the jag from BU, Tufts, UNM, USC, UCI, UCD, Harbor-UCLA, Colorado, UCSD...I'm noticing a very ominous trend over here. Even though I've heard that a lot of interview invites do come in december, this month is almost halfway over and I'm starting to get very, very worried...very. Anyways, do most programs send out interviews in waves? So that if their A team doesn't commit, then they can call in the B-team? (I can't imagine there's a C-team, although I'm praying to the almighty there is!) Or is it a case of if you haven't heard by now, you probably won't, because they won't even bother to get back to you?

Invites and waitlist notices will continue to come out through the end of December. People will sometimes tire of all the traveling and cancel interviews in late Jan/early Feb. For this reason, if you are on a waitlist, you may get an invite even into January. (I know this has been the case with GW in recent years, for example)

The Texas drought continues as I got the ole heave ho from Texas A&M and Baylor. Arkansas and Mt. Sinai piled on just to prove the old adage -- "If you can't kick a man when he's down, when can you kick him?"

Replied by on topic Baylor was at least nice
Baylor was at least nice enough to tell me that if anything changed and all of the people that they want decide not to interview, they will contact me! Apparently Arkansas didn't have the same sentiments. Maybe I should have sent in all four required letters! At least I don't have to live in Little Rock!
