Quick question:
I know that just because you apply for an away rotation, there is no guarantee you'll get to rotate. Is it ok then to apply for multiple away rotations during the same block? Would it affect residency applications if you happened to get accepted to multiple away rotations during the same block and have to decline some offers because of the timing?

Most places do accept sub-interns so there isn't usually a need to apply to multiple programs for the same month. Whether or not it can be detrimental depends on whether they screen the applications for subinterns (most placed do not) - if the program director/program is not involved with the selection process then it will not make a difference.

Good luck
