I wonder that myself.. this was the response I received when I asked where to send in rec letters, CV, scores, etc:

I asked about sending these documents via PM, since it would require about 8 messages to send everything, and no response..
The lack of response time, the general lack of detail and secretive approach all make me question the legitimacy of this post. I don't see how any chairman in the country truly thinks this is the best way to find an upper level candidate. Are they really not willing to even create a free email account to get documents sent to?
Personally, I'd rather wait to hear something concrete before I send these "personal" documents to who knows who.
