PGY-3 from closing program looking for PGY-4 spot next year was created by orthomdin12
I am currently a PGY-3 from a program that the ACGME has (unjustly we feel) decided to close and am looking for a place to finish out my residency. I would come with funding and the ACGME has agreed to increase any program's complement of residents that takes any of us temporarily by one (meaning it doesn't have to be a spot that is currently unfilled).

Sorry to hear that. It is a blow to the whole field, and makes it that much harder for aspiring orthopods like myself. What program is being closed? Did the ACGME cite any specific reason?
