I'm at a cush huge place in the midwest. Ranked top 5 in USnews for whatever thats worth. Almost no call after 2nd year. Lots of level appropriate operating, lots of cases. Huge in sports/joints, good in spine, weak in trauma. Ok peds/hand. Go wherever you want for fellowship (but where isnt that true these days?)
Need to be somewhere warm. Would prefer west coast, but whatever. Would consider community/smaller programs, just sunny and warm. Can't take the 4 months of snow again. Apparently seasonal affective disorder isn't just for old ladies in fluorescent light bulb commercials.
Pretty serious about this. If you're also a current ortho intern looking for a bigger and/or bigger name place let me know.
