Update 7/23/08: PGY2 position at UCSF

The UCSF Orthopaedic Residency Program will likely have an opening for a PGY2 starting immediately--we will know for sure within a week or two.
For those of you who are interested, please send me an e-mail with the following info:
1) Medical school and date of graduation
2) Approximate class rank (top 10%, top 25%, etc.)
3) Step exam scores
4) How many ortho residency interviews you were invited to
5) What you have been doing since graduation (1 or 2 sentences)
6) Why you want to switch programs and/or why think you didn't match in ortho originally.

Has anyone heard any news about this position? Have any interview offers been extended?

I know 4 people who sent application and nobody has got any emails from them for interview or rejection. Look at the list of their residents, and you would probably realize your chances.

Interview offers have been extended.

So, whoever has not heard from them is rejected. Good way to know.
