2 pgy 2 spots on the west coast!

i hear that stanford may be expanding and they may want to add to their complement of interns this year. there are 2 less interns this year than the previous 2 classes so potentially 2 spots can be created. inquire with the program director if interested. hope this helps.

I spoke with their secretary on the phone last week, and she informed me that they currently have no positions available.

you might want to email the PD instead. sometimes there's miscommunication or special cases that may considered rather than a blanket no to inquiries through the secretary. if you're funded and carry a good chance of getting approved for an expansion spot then i recommend you persist and inquire again from the PD. good luck.

I'm currently an Ortho PGY2 on the East coast at a decent ortho program. My girlfriend matched at Stanford though and will be there for 3 years. I'd love to swap into an open position at Stanford. I hear it's a great program. Any news on the expansion?
