Time Period: May or June 2007 to June 2008.

I just wanted to remind you all before Match Day that you can apply for our Orthopaedic Oncology clinical research fellowship for next year at the University of Pennsylvania. It is a great opportunity for you to greatly improve your orthopaedic knowledge (in oncology and in general) as well as to get published and improve your CV. You get to work directly with 3 attendings and several office staff as well as the residents on the oncology service at a top level orthopaedic program. I have had a great experience as have the previous fellows that I have talked with. A general surgery internship year will not offer you the exposure to orthopaedics (and to orthopaedic surgeons) and research opportunities that a research year with an orthopaedic program will provide.

TO APPLY, please FAX me your CV (with contact information and board scores) at 215-829-5060. Please do not email me your CV. The attendings are going to make a decision between Monday and Wednesday. You can email me if you have any questions.

If you have NOT SENT ME your CV by MATCH DAY and are still interested, please fax (215-829-5060) or email (only on or after 3/12/07 at jay.king@uphs.upenn.edu) me your CV and board scores.

Thanks and Good Luck!

Jay King

Thanks to all who applied for this clinical research position. We had many great applicants, but unfortuneately we can only take 1 person per year. The position starting in 6/2007 (until 6/2008) has been filled for this year.

Good Luck to everyone!

Thanks, Jay King
