The University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Medical Center program has an opening for a funded PGY2 position starting July 1, 2006. Interested applicants should submit letters of recommendation, USMLE scores, OITE scores (if applicable), list of PGY1 rotations performed, medical school transcripts, Dean?s letter, etc. to Carmen Fuente, Program Coordinator, at orthoapp@med.miami.edu. You may also fax your information to (305)585-7368. Alternatively, you may submit your application through ERAS or send via Fed Ex.

We will start reviewing applications next week (April 10th) and hopefully start interviewing by Saturday, April 15. We would like to fill this position as quickly as possible.

Replied by ortho7869 on topic Limited our Search for PGY2 Spot at Miami
Thank you for the tremendous response to our posting. At this time we are limiting our search to residents from Wayne State and other orthopaedic programs that have received RRC permission to seek transfers. Those who have already submitted applications, they are currently under review. Should we re-open the position it will be posted on this site.
