PGY 2 Position available this July 2006 was created by rocketscientist
Ohio State University has recently been approved for 2 additional residents per year, taking our total to 6 residents in each class. This increase is retroactive to last year's match. We already have 1 spot filled, and just got funding for the final spot. Interested applicants can PM me or contact our residency program coordinator Julia Panzo. She would prefer emails to Julia.Panzo@osumc.edu.

General info on the program can be found at www.ortho.ohio-state.edu/index.htm

OSU is an excellent program in a very livable city. We have not gotten much attention on Orthogate recently, so feel free to seek more current info. Our program puts a large emphasis on character and strong interpersonal skills. Of course applicants with the whole package are sought, but I would encourage anyone interested to throw their hat in the ring. Who know where the next lotto winner comes from?

Good luck, and never give up.

We have received over 50 inquiries to our opening now. The position is still open. We will be reviewing applications at the end of this week and will most likely be contacting those we wish to interview by the middle of next week (week of April 3). We hope to interview for and fill this position by mid-April.

If you are interested in the opening, please e-mail your CV, personal statement, letters of recommendation, board scores, and Dean's letters to Julia.Panzo@osumc.edu. If the documents are not e-mailable, please fax them to 614-293-3596. Alternatively, you may send your application through ERAS.

I am being inundated with phone calls. Please contact me by e-mail rather than by phone. I simply cannot keep up with all of the phone calls. If you e-mail me, I will reply the same day.

Thank you,
