The Palm Orthopedic Joint & Spine Institute is now accepting applications for our Summer 2026 Hybrid Research Program, which combines clinical exposure with mentored orthopedic research.
This program offers students the opportunity to gain real-world experience in clinical research while receiving mentorship from an orthopedic surgeon in a clinical setting.
Program Highlights
• Hybrid structure: in-clinic exposure + remote research work
• Clinical mentoring with an orthopedic surgeon
• Participation in clinical research and systematic reviews
• Experience in evidence-based orthopedic research and publication development
Ideal Applicants
• Students with knowledge of statistics or research methodology
• Previous exposure to systematic reviews preferred
• Strong organizational or IT/data skills are valuable
• Open to all students with research interests (not limited to medical students)
