The mission of the organization is to provide resources, safe spaces for underrepresented students in medicine and a platform to discuss health issues impacting the black and brown community in Brooklyn. As the liaison, I organized multiple informative panels for STEP 1 and clerkship preparation, study breaks, and panels where upperclassmen discuss their tips for preparing for the next block. This position enabled me to Build lasting relationships with my colleagues and identify what the organization could do to aid in their success. This position would allow me to even organize sessions where I can go through the features that amboss has and how they could help other students. This way the underclassmen have a detailed explanation about how to navigate AMBOSS.
