The Jr. Specialist
will serve as the clinical research coordinator and biomechanical
laboratory research. This is a great opportunity for recent graduates to
obtain valuable clinical research experience. The Jr. Specialist will assist members of
the Orthopaedic Department with clinical trials. Responsibilities
include but are not limited to, consenting patients for current IRB
studies, collecting and recording data, reviewing medical records, and
entering information into study databases. These studies
may be of varying designs, including retrospective and prospective
studies. Upon completion of the studies they may be asked
to participate in writing abstracts and manuscripts for submission to
scientific journals.
