Luminis Health Orthopedics in Annapolis, MD is recruiting a Research Fellow for the 2024-2025 academic year. The Orthopedic Research Fellowship is a one to two year funded professional development opportunity for rising 4th year medical students and/or MD or DO graduates with an interest in orthopedic surgery. Fellows will design, implement, analyze, present, and publish research projects under the guidance of the director of research and attending surgeons. This position will support research activities across the total joint, spine, upper extremity, foot and ankle, and sports medicine subspecialties. Fellows will have the opportunity to present their work at various national meetings and to serve as first-author on publications, as appropriate. Additional opportunities for shadowing in the clinic and OR, and participation in didactic sessions/cadaver labs will be provided. The targeted start date for this position is June or July, 2024. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
