Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Management of clinical trials and ongoing studies
  • Perform literature reviews, develop research hypotheses, and formulate research protocols
  • Drafting and submitting IRB proposals
  • Study recruitment
  • Scheduling and conducting study related visits
  • Conduct monthly research meetings to attendings and fellows updating status of ongoing projects
  • Data collection and management
  • Manuscript writing and submission

 

Duration: 1 year

Where: University Orthopedics, Inc., Rhode Island Hospital, and Brown University in Providence, RI

When: April 2024 (dates are flexible)

Salary: monthly stipend

  • Genuine interest in orthopaedics and treatment of musculoskeletal disease
  • Strong academic record
  • Excellent personal and communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently
  • Previous experience in research and statistical analysis is preferable
