Who: Current medical students who are committed to a career in orthopaedic surgery. Ideal timing is between MS3 and MS4 years, however qualified candidates at other time points will be considered.

When: Beginning May-June 2023

Duration: 1 year

Salary: $30,000 scholarship

Where: Indiana University Methodist Hospital, a level 1 trauma center in Indianapolis, IN

Structure: Research fellow will attend daily morning sign-out conference. Most of the time will be dedicated to research activities; however, the organized and efficient candidate may be afforded clinic and operating room exposure as able. Research fellow will participate in all didactic conferences, cadaver labs, journal clubs, and other educational opportunities.
