The research fellow will work closely with physicians and orthopaedic residents perform literature reviews, formulate studies, ensure IRB compliance, recruit patients, manage databases, analyze and interpret data, and write, edit, and submit manuscripts for publication. The fellow will be required to write and submit abstracts and make posters and presentations for upcoming meetings, which the fellow will also have the opportunity to attend. The fellow will be required to attend all relevant research meetings, journal clubs, and outpatient clinics and will also have the opportunity to shadow physicians in the OR.
Adequate compensation for a research fellow will be offered. A start date of June/July 2022 is recommended, and a commitment to the position for at least one year is required.
