These research years are a great opportunity for anyone interested in the field of orthopaedic surgery. During the research years, the candidate will have the opportunity to coordinate, organize, and execute multiple research projects. There are ample opportunities to lead or co-author manuscripts and presentations, and to present at conferences. Other aspects of the job include protocol development, recruitment of patients for prospective sensor studies,  literature searches, maintain robotics/computer navigated registry, assist with research design and implementation, and managing IRB submissions. 

You will also have the opportunity to attend academic conferences by the Adult Reconstruction and Joint Replacement department.

There are two full-time paid positions available (Clinical Research Coordinator and Clinical Research Assistant).

Start date: April/May/June 2022

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or higher

Experience:  1-2 years experience in Clinical Research is preferred

Proficient use of computers and software Working of knowledge of Microsoft Excel is strongly desired; Word, PowerPoint, EDC, EMR (preferably EPIC)

Good interpersonal skills
Detail oriented and organized
Knowledge of Orthopaedic and/or Rheumatologic terminology is a plus.

Candidates with bioengineering/biomechanics/ or biotechnology backgrounds are encouraged to apply
