The research coordinator will work closely with Dr. Rodriguez and his clinical team, as well as departmental research assistants, biomechanics, biostatisticians, and the institution’s IRB. Duties include assisting in study design, gathering and analyzing data, filming and editing surgical videos, submitting and presenting current work at regional, national, and international conferences, and preparing manuscripts for publication in peer-reviewed journals.
Past coordinators have published in multiple journals and presented at multiple annual orthopaedic meetings. We are proud to say that our past research coordinators have gone on to match with success into an orthopaedic surgical residency.
