This is a wonderful opportunity for a highly-motivated individual to learn a great deal about Orthopaedic Hand Surgery and to strengthen their application for the Orthopedic Residency Match. The research fellow will be expected to work on numerous projects with several investigators; therefore, excellent organizational and communication skills are paramount. Duties include project design, Institutional Review Board applications, scientific literature search, data collection, biomechanical testing, progress updates and manuscript preparation.
You will have the opportunity to work with 12 orthopedic hand surgeons. Our previous fellows have been prolific, with typically 10 accepted/published manuscripts and abstracts accepted for presentation at national meetings during the year.
Many of our previous fellows working under our mentorship have successfully matched in residency programs.
To apply, email your CV, picture, USMLE scores (if taken), clinical grades, and a very brief statement of interest to our Chief of research John Capo, MD at
