Orthopaedics will present a live Webcast of a Total Hip Arthroplasty
featuring the Accolade ® Hip System with New Expanded Size Options
direct from the Surgical Decisions and Advancements Meeting in Chicago.
The Webcast will provide an opportunity to gain a practical
understanding of how the Accolade Hip System provides a balance of
improved range of motion and enhanced patient quality of live. The
procedure will show how the standard and extended offset options allow
the surgeon to enhance soft tissue tensioning without significantly
affecting leg length. The goal is to enhance patient quality of life by
improving joint stability and range of motion.
The
total hip replacement will be performed by William J. Hozack, M.D.,
from Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, Philadelphia, PA. Arthur L.
Malkani, M.D. will moderate the procedure from the Surgical Decisions
and Advancements Meeting in Chicago.
