An interactive course designed exclusively for residents!
Spend the majority of your time in the hands-on cadaver lab developing knee and shoulder arthroscopy skills. Procedures that are taught include ACL reconstruction, rotator cuff repair, labral surgery, meniscus repair, partial meniscectomy, subacromial decompression, and biceps procedures. Brief lectures and surgical demonstrations will provide a background for the procedures. Each pair of residents will have their own knee and shoulder cadaver specimens, as well as access to a knee simulator to practice arthroscopy skills, providing a focused learning environment.
