What kind of score dose a IMG need to match into any ortho residency?

Get a solid score and transfer out- your chances will improve significantly. I started off in the Caribbean and then decided on ortho. I realized that my chances were slim to none so I applied to transfer into an LCME school and was accepted. I matched this year and doubt I would have had I stayed in the Caribbean. Reading your blog was what made me decide to reapply to US MD schools and I got into half a dozen schools on my second attempt. I had what I thought was a not salvageable GPA.
