One of the institutions I rotated at had a resident leave because they hated ortho. This R2 opening was immediately picked up by a gen surg intern. It isn't very hard to fill an ortho spot- once the word gets out, people are all over it.
I have seen an occasional post on orthogate (advanced residency positions subsection I believe). Good luck.
