Guys, if it's 2 weeks before your interview and you still haven't found a switch-mate, it's time to let it go. You're probably not the only one with a conflict on X date, so the odds of you finding a last minute swap are nil. Besides making yourself and your school look horribly unprofessional by canceling at the last minute, if you wait any later most programs won't even bother re-offering your spot since they don't want to pressure applicants to pay exorbitant travel fees.

Agreed. Some programs will actually contact your dean’s office if you cancel too close to the interview date. It’s pretty poor form.

Dude, give it up, the Pitt interviews are in less than 2 weeks. At this point, all you are doing is screwing over someone else by not cancelling either your Pitt interview or the other conflicting interview.

wow guys....jumping to conclusions......I am not screwing anyone....i have an interview on the 4th and the 5th....I fully intend on going to both but I am terrible sorry for trying to make my life easier......

No one is going to trade away their Dec 3 Pitt interview. That's like giving up the Jan 20 Wash U date.

I have Jan 20 Wash U. Will trade for either of the other two dates if you have Dec 18 & 19 Iowa to trade me for Jan 8 & 9.

I would prefer 12/11 but get at me fast as I would like to cancel a 12/11 with 2 weeks notice so I only have the next couple days.
