I spoke with Jefferson today. They stated that they have sent out a "majority" of the interview offers but that they will be sending out more as the applications are returned to the office from the physicians reviewing the applications.
University of Michigan by ERAS e-mail at just after 5pm tonight for 12/12, 12/16, 1/6. The email says there's an "informal/optional" meeting with the residents the night before.
UT-Memphis Campbell Clinic today for 11/18, 12/16, or 1/13 (not it to interview on Friday the 13th!)
Got an email from some lady saying that I'd here by regular mail by Nov. 14th, although she apparently neglected to put the name of the program which she was referring to. Anyway, I used her email address to figure out that she was with Maryland.
Ohio State had e-mailed earlier saying they would send out interviews or rejections to everyone on Nov. 7. They haven't sent anything. What gives? Anybody heard anything?
For me 3 interviews, no rejections. I'm wondering if my application is at the bottom of most of the piles and people haven't gotten to it yet or something.
This is all moving so painfully slow. And it drives me crazy that friends going to other fields, even competetive ones, have like 10 or more interview invites already. But ortho. residents have told me that's just the way it is in ortho.
I think Ohio State messed up becuz the email said "Tuesday, Nov 7th." Nov 7th is a monday (ie today) so they probably meant tomorrow (tuesday)........ Just a guess. I'm waiting too.
