Interview Offers Thread 2007-2008

There is already a 2008-2009 thread. Interview invites have already been posted there. To avoid confusion, don't use this one for the 2008-2009 application season.

Just wanted to bump this thread for 2008 applicants. Seems like this coming week we'll start to see a few more invites handed out.

Yeah, I got that letter too. And to be honest was stunned . . . . I have no idea what to make of it, since I thought those five mini-interviews were "screening" interviews for a formal invitation. The letter is such a convoluted mess. Any body got any clue what it is about? and what it means for chances of matching?

UC Irvine - email - 12/21 -- 2/1 or 2/2

"morning or an afternoon on Friday, February 1st or Saturday, February 2, 2008"... with a "Chairman's Dinner Event (mandatory)"

Only waiting to hear from 3 that havent sent out invites yet (as far as i know) the others are history im sure

any other colo rotators get weird form letter with formal interview denial?

its official, heard from everyone or they have already had their interviews. i think i wont check my email for an entire day, its going to be sweet

Northwestern has been interviewing rotators and a handful of non-rotators every Monday since November. I know they finish interviewing in January, and that some people are already scheduled for those times. Can't say for certain if they're completely done sending out invites.

Does anyone know if Northwestern has sent out interviews & perhaps they're just not posted on here yet? If not, does anyone know when they might send them out???

UC Irvine has not sent their invites out yet. It should be any day now.

Looks like office is slowing down........anyone hear anything from UC Irvine, Lenox Hill or Howard yet???

Union Memorial today 12/17 via ERAS e-mail...call to schedule interview.

GW offer today by personal email for 1/11 date only

I emailed Randie with this Q, and got a response: "if the email did not say that you were selected for the 6-yr track then you are interviewing for the 5-yr program"

My invite email also said something about the 6-yr thing, but I guess that is just general info...

How do we tell by the email which program we got an interview for...5 or 6 year track...is there a difference in the wording?
