I'm trying to plan out my 4th year schedule...when are the brunt of ortho interviews? It seems like they occur in Dec and Jan. Has any heard of, or had interviews in Feb? I'm planning on doing an away elective that month and probably wouldn't be able to get out to interview.
Does anything else crucial to the interview process happen during Feb that I should be aware of?

There are a few that will do Feb interviews. Though none that I applied to. Only thing that happens in Feb is Rank Lists are due.

I know that Saint Louis and Orlando both have February interview dates, but they both have January dates as well. I would plan for the brunt of interviews to be in December and January with January having the majority. On the other hand, I did have one in November. Whatever the case, the process is a bitch.

It is also important to note that regardless of the month, most programs interview on the weekends. Weekdays can still be used for clerkships and it is not absolutely necessary to take an entire month off, as I did, in December. Although, looking back, I'm glad I had that month off to chill.
