i'll share a little secret i used last year.

most email services provide some sort of message alerting to a cell phone. i programmed my email to text message my cell whenever i received mail with "ortho" or "interview" or "invitation" or "application" in the subject line. saved me countless hours of waiting by the cimputer so i woudn't miss out a precious spot at a program that overbooks. i'm sure this got me at least one more interview than i would have had, and certainly made it a little bit less stressful.

good luck to you all. it's much better on the other side.

cheers

that was a big help. I put a filter in Eudora to automatically text my phone when I receive any email that has "distribution" in the "To:" field. now I don't have to sit in front of a computer all day
