I'm interested in which hospitals/programs have a gym or decent workout room you can use on call when time permits. For anybody really motivated, which should be any good pod in my opinion, this would be a huge perk. I know Greenville had one right on campus and so did the Campbell Clinic at one of the hospitals. Any others?

I just want to comment on the ill amount of EtOH to be consumed on the 20th since it all starts at noon and bars don't close until 2AM. I'd be interested to see who can pack away the most frosty beverages althogh I don't promote that kind of activity. ):)

Loyola has got a pretty sweet gym, and it sounds like their residents have the time to use it.
Medical College of Ohio has a nice gym as well.

HJD has two gyms....as I remember one in each hospital that they rotate at..Nothing big and they are in the basement but residents definately seemed to use them...mostly older equipment and treadmills...these aren't public either so there never is a crowd...also there is a basketball court on the roof and apparently ortho and plastics share the key...

Kentucky has a very new, very sweet student center which is a 2 min walk out the front door of the VA. An excellent facility for keeping the bench to OITE ratio greater than 2:1.

only thing about the UK gym is that you have hot chicks distracting you and some huge ortho resident named wildcat making you look bad

OHSU has a very nice gym 100 feet from the main hospital. Has hoops courts, racketball (not that orthopaedists play racketball), pool, cardio crap, and most importantly, a great weight room. Only downside is you have to pay a minimal fee per month. Oh well. Cant have everything.
