At this point last year Wayne State had dipped their feet in the water. Wondering if anyone has heard anything yet, though understand that the vast majority of us have a lot of waiting to do still

I got my invite today. I'll start off the list:

Wayne State (email 9/27)- 12/3

They said they have 1 date in dec and 2 in january but they were during interview hotspots like jan 14 I think ( I don't remember the january dates too well )

just out of curiosity are your medical school transcripts uploaded to ERAS already? And on an unrelated note, in keeping with the format from last year do any of you three remember ALL the dates offered in your invite that you could post up here so we can keep a running list? Thank you

I also got an invite from Wayne State today for 12/3. They didn't list the other interview dates. I guess they just randomly assign applicants to one of them.

My school uploaded our transcripts a couple weeks ago. Also, I only have one of my letters right now uploaded to ERAS.

I had all 3 of my 4 LoRs. Everything else, except MSPE of course, has been downloaded. Since receiving an invite my 4th LoR from an away rotation has been uploaded. Therefore, my ERAS is complete. Personally, dont think it made a difference. I get the impression that a complete application was not the ticket to an invite. Hard to know why the invites are sent...

Tibula, have you already sent your undergraduate transcripts to Case? I wasn't aware they required them until this weekend.

Didn't apply to Case. Glad I didn't though. Getting my college transcript would have been harder than completing my ERAS app...my college wasn't organized at all.

This whole thing with the transcripts to Case particularly amuses me. I went to Case for undergrad and grad school before getting the hell out of Dodge for med school. Still applying there since its a good program, but they still wanted me to send my transcripts in even though they can access them on campus.

Had to spend $7 via their online transcript system so that my shit could be mailed across the street (from the engineering quad to the medical center). Haven't heard back from them either way yet, but seeing as how they "misplaced" my med school application which was hand delivered, I'm not holding my breath (and yes, they actually admitted to losing it for about 4 months before inviting me to the last interview day).

Prolly no need to stress about not sending undergrad transcripts to Case Western yet...the response to accepting an interview invite just said "If you have not yet made arrangements to get us your undergrad transcript please do so."

I was looking through the last years Interview invite forum and some schools seem to only sent out invites once (ie. Pitts) if you don't get an invite from them does that mean you won't get one at all???

Might as well just keep a running tally every time someone gets an invite rather than listing them individually...

got an interview offer from pitt, dec 9th or 10th. 3/4 LOR in. they told me Freddie Fu will be interviewing me.
