Now that the rank lists are finalized...

I saw this thread in the past, I thought it might be helpful/interesting for future applicants.

Basically just list your top three programs. Here's mine:

1. HSS
2. WashU
3. Columbia

Replied by on topic I found the "match lists"
I found the "match lists" to be useful from past threads.

I really don't know how our top 3 programs on our ROL will help any future applicants without more info to back up that list such as stats and interview experience, etc....

I agree with previous two posters, theres really no point to this thread until March 19th

Good ideas Guys. Goodluck on Match 19. Could you start a new thread at that time? I think by then this thread would be old. I am one of the future hopefuls for next year and I am counting on your experiences to decide where to apply with my current stats.

I think starting a new thread 3/19 is a good idea.

As far as applying goes, I think the best advice anyone can give you is to apply broadly. That goes for the 220 with a couple honors guy as well as for the 240 AOA mostly/all honors guy - the interviewing process is a crapshoot, seriously. I think everyone applying this year and those that applied in the past can tell you about how they were offered interviews at places they didn't expect, and also got turned down by places they thought were a sure thing. In the end, it's better to apply to 50 or 60 and have to turn down a few than to apply to 20 and wish you had expanded. my $.02
