Since some of my classmates have already starting getting interviews in IM, Anes, etc., and so I was just curious when Ortho programs typically start offering interviews. I'm sure it's very variable by program, but I was wondering if they start in September, or if I shouldn't really start expecting to hear from places until late Oct/Nov/Dec? Thanks

Last year I got my first interview in October I think. I received most of them in November.

traditionally the first program to offer an interview invite is Wayne State, after that most other programs offer invites after Nov. 1st. Trust me, you will have like 1-2 invites before Nov. 1 if you are lucky and then get a crap load after that (or you will get rejections). Don't worry about classmates applying to psych and OBGYN who are getting invites already; ortho is different.
