volunteer experience

Just on a side note, if you look at the Charting the Outcomes Info you'll notice that there is zero correlation statistically between work/volunteer experience and matching. In other words, the chances of matching are just as good if you spent a summer at McDonalds as if you had 10 different jobs with UNICEF.

The criteria for Work Experiences and Research was pretty narrow, so pretty much everything else goes under Volunteer Experiences. For me being president of such and such group was a Volunteer Experience. Because of the narrow criteria for the other categories I think its pretty easy for most folks to get to around 5. I doubt that the volunteer category is that important to a lot of the big programs though.

anyone have any input. i would like to know about this as well.
