Just a couple of thoughts about this review of virginia. first no matter how good a program is, there is no perfect program. they all have some area or areas that could be improved. even if we were to go under the assumption that UVA was the "BEST" ortho program in america, it would be hard to believe that it should be rated 10/10 in every single category. For instance, there is no mention of the residents going to Roanoke for up to 40 weeks during their residency (I believe this is still the case although it may have changed). 10/10 is like when the patient with an ankle fracture says that their pain is a 12. Although these reviews can be helpful they must be read with some caution, particularly when written by residents of the programs.
