Southern Programs

I think you would have to include the Carolina's program in Charlotte as one of the top 2 along with the Campbell clinic from the standpoint of reputation and notable attendings.

I ranked UTSW next to last after having gone down there to interview anticipating that I would rank the program very highly. I just wasn't impressed by the residents themselves and thought they made a lot of excuses for their program. But, misery loves company, so I'm sure there are plenty of people out there who will argue to the death in favor of UTSW. I guess that in theory I could end up there, but hopefully I won't match that far down my list.
