howdy, anyone know of a good solvent that will remove fiberglass (from casts) from bandage scissors? the scissors are the expensive stainless steel shears, but i let a resident borrow them and he gave them back covered in fiberglass from where he was putting on some casts.

thanks in advance

Most of us have "gently acquired" some good shears along the way... but the ones I have now are the best, and I got them from one of the cast techs in our clinic. They often have good pairs with some to spare, and so if anyone doesn't have any, this might be a good place to snag a pair.
