i had 4 in DEC, 13 in JAN and 2 in FEB.
initially I was trying to schedule them for a little later b/c i thought (incorrectly) that I would somehow be more prepared in Jan.
try and schedule them for Dec if u can because Jan is super-tight, especially the first two or three weekends of Jan.
also, if a program offers a weekday, jump on it quick b/c a lot of places ONLY offer weekends, so if u can get a weekday it avoids conflicts... which will soon become the bain of your existence!
stay close to your computer, schedule early (ie immediately), cancel with 7-10 days notice to be fair to everyone else... its a rough time but you'll get thru it
