can anyone suggest which book is best to start off with? I am about to finish my intern year and feel that there is a lot of ortho i need to learn in 2 months. Some people have suggested going for the general OKU, and others suggest OKU trauma. any thoughts?

I'd go with the OKU book. It gives a good overview of all topics. Hold off on buying it if you haven't already. I think OKU 9 comes out later this year.
