Has anyone done a Peds Ortho rotation at Northwestern Children's Memorial Hospital??
I received a clinic schedule in the mail and there seems to be A LOT of clinic so I was a bit worried that it was all outpatient with no surgical experience. Can anyone confirm or deny this?? Any other advice for this rotation will be appreciated as well.
Thanks, OrthoDreamer :smokin:

Dude,

Don't know anything about NW program, but welcome to the world of Peds ortho. Lots of clinic and NON-operative treatment (i.e. bracing and serial casting). I really love Peds-ortho, but that's the one thing that might deter me from pursuing it.

There is plenty of "operative" peds ortho if your referral network is set up right.
