Whats up People?

What do you guys know about RWJ in New Brunswick? Also, how about the community program in central jersey (Monmouth)? Anyone rotate or hear anything about these two in particular?

Thanks in advance. :roll smile: :roll smile:

talked to a few people on the interview trail that thought monmouth was one of the biggest sleeper programs out there. downside is only 2 residents per year. upside, you are right on the jersey shore! people that i talked with spoke highly of it. probably not the greatest if you want to pursue an academic career though!

I rotated at Childrens of Philadelphia (ostensibly as part of a penn rotation) and one of the 4th years there was from monmouth doing his pedi rotation. He was a super nice guy who was happy, loved monmouth (they have incredible lifestyle for ortho), and he was every bit as good a surgeon as the penn guys (I scrubbed with several) were at the same point in training. If you don't want high powered research and like the area then it sounds great.

All this is from talking with one resident, so it may not tell the whole story.
