For those of you who interviewed at Mayo I was wondering if you all got a letter from the department thanking you for interviewing. In particular, they wrote "If you choose to come to Mayo..."

Do you guys think this is a generic letter they send to all of their interviewees or is it specific in nature? I am pretty sure it isn't solely our decision--althought it would be nice! Let me know your thoughts. Thanks.

Got the same letter. Definitely generic. I was told from multiple people that if they decide to let their top people know this year, Hanssen will contact them directly.
