I am going to be doing an away rotation in September and I was wondering if there would be enough time for the writer to get it in and me to submit it to ERAS before the deadline. Have any of the matched seniors been able to pull this off? When is the first and last day to submit a letter?

I did a rotation in October, and had enough time to include it as part of my application. I would recommend that you ask for 4 or 5 letters total, just to make sure you are covered, and then you can even pick and choose which letters to use for each program (ie, I would recommend using a west coast letter for west coast schools, etc., if you are interested applying to specific region)
