It is clearly still early but some interviews have already been offered, so how about a thread devoted purely to the dates interviews were offered? Also post the dates being offered to attend the interview.

you probably aren't going to get a response to this question until after the ROL's are due.

this is most likely for a couple reasons:
1) people are holding there cards close to their vest due to the incredibly competitive nature of getting into an ortho residency.
2)people are nervous enough as is without having to look at someone with similar grades/board scores who got an interview with program x, while program x decided not to interview them

typically (for the last two years) this info comes out in late feb/early march

besides...of all the schools people have mentioned so far, only 4 of the 46 that I have applied to have sent out replies, per this board (uic, duke, indiana and georgetown). So to say that i have one interview and one rejection isn't really saying much (c'mon, you know about small sample size).

Did U of Chicago interview come via email or snail? Also, just for reference, did you do a home or away there?

I hear ya Governor,
Duke, Iowa, Mayo (granted, as an away, but they liked me I think), and the bone from wake and probably UChicago now. It'll be interesting (if not painful and frustrating) to see the patterns once everybody's stats are revealed at the end.
Then again, I won't care at the end, I'll either have matched or moved on to my job at McDonald's

don't even bother trying to figure this crap out.

you could be 260, AOA with 2 publications in JBJS and still get about 50% rejections (which is not to say that this description doesn't apply to you)

the programs all have their goofy idiosyncrasies and their isn't necessarily any plausible reason behind them.

just let it all go, and be the ball (just don't hit it in the lumber yard)

got the painful ol' finger from UNC yesterday.

got the good news from U of Florida Gainsville, by email, interviews on Nov 24, Dec 9, Dec 18, Jan 16. With reception the night before at The Two Bits Lounge, at the University of Florida Hilton Hotel and Conference Center. Not bad.

seems like so far I'm getting a one rejection/one interview ratio. Lets see where it trends.

good luck brothers.

if anyone out there would be willing to switch dates with me for the Wake Forest interview, I'd REALLY be grateful. I'm confirmed for Dec 12 and need to switch to Jan 16.

(Jan 16 would be the only way I can attend Wake.) Please post here or send me a personal message if you'd be willing to swap.

Thanks in advance for your help and best of luck to all.
