Hey guys. I recently went unmatched this past year unfortunately. I am a student in the philadelphia area and have called places like Jefferson and Penn. I am from california so I am calling departments over there as well but I am getting no luck at any available spots! Can anyone offer any tips on looking for research? I also applied to Mayo and NYU because of ads I saw on this site. Any advice! i want to set something up quick!

Just call everywhere and talk to the people that run the ortho research. Usually Ph.D's. I just searched online and found people and emailed and called everyone. Home programs are usually willing to create something, if nothing exisits.

Good Luck, Sorry!!!
