Quick question for those that have come before. I'm trying to figure out my 4th year schedule and am wondering if I should do a Gen Surg Sub-I along with my 3 or 4 Ortho Sub-I's? Any thoughts or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Why would you want to do that. If you do 3-4 ortho sub i you will be very tired at the end. The last thing you would want to do is a gen surg sub i. But if I was going to do one I would do trauma or sicu.

Yeah that makes complete sense. I just wasn't sure if programs expect applicants to have done at least one gen-surg sub-i in addition to the ortho sub-i's. Thanks for your help.
